Avamar is an enterprise backup software that allows you to back just about anything, which includes full image based backups of VMs within VMware, physical Windows, Linux, Unix, Hyper-V, and application consistent backups (Exchange and SQL). On the source server, run the migration command, where DST is the destination Avamar IP address or hostname, DST-ROOT-PASSWORD is the destination root password, and SRC-ROOT-PASSWORD is the source root password. Note, there are two ROOT users in Avamar, "Avamar Root" and "OS Root". This is the "Avamar Root" user credentials we're looking for here.
